Opening the Way in Prayer

We are very proud of our 40 pastors in Chilombo and Cazompo area who graduated their leader training last week! In this area in the very east of Angola, these leaders and their trainers have faithfully endured despite the area being a forgotten place, war torn and challenged by poverty. Please pray for them to keep on with their mission by God’s grace and through His power! All Glory to God!

The last quarter of the year marks “Giving Season” in the USA which forms an important fundraising opportunity for Harvesters Ministries. Please pray with us for favour and God’s direction in partnerships and sponsorships to fund Harvesters’ work globally.

Praise God with us for an amazing kickoff session in Malaga. We had around 30 people who received the training and together with the hosting church, they have a vision of planting churches in every single town of the province. Please keep praying for Spain and the region. We believe we will see our revival in Europe!

Earlier this month we had an amazing time with a Kickoff on the island of Bornholm. By God’s grace, we had over 40 people joining us, which is a big thing in Europe! It was wonderful to experience people evangelizing for the first time and stepping into their responsibility as Great Commission Christians and even though this message challenged their culture, they received it with open hearts. Please keep on praying to see the harvest that the Lord will bring out of the seed that was planted during these sessions.

Thank God with us for the recent mission trip completed by local leaders in the cities of Takoradi, Cape Coast, Keta, Koforidua, Obuasi, Kenyasi, Kintampo, Tamale, Bolgatanga and Burkina Faso. Pray that God will continue to encourage and strengthen the believers and that He will open the way for many churches to be planted in these areas.

Harvesters held extensive operational strategic meeting sessions last week. Praise God with us for His guidance and vision. Please continue to pray for our leadership – that God would continue to guide and teach them in the way He would have Harvesters Ministries go. Pray also for all the staff – in the field as well as in the offices, that we would continue to love one another and to do everything for Him, for His glory and for the expansion of His Kingdom.

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters. (Col. 3:23)

Praise God for building new relationships across different denominations in Europe. Pray that these new partnerships will bear much fruit in His Kingdom and that many churches will be inspired to embrace disciple-making, missions and church planting. To God all the glory!

The church in this city is challenged by idolatry, witchcraft, drug trafficking, a life of lust but despite the difficult circumstances, we praise God for new churches that could already be planted in the area. Thank you for continuing to pray for these courageous men and women of God who face challenges and adversity every day; but they have the passion and commitment to continue expanding God’s Kingdom in Peten.

Pray with us that leaders in Southeast Asia will continue to have renewed passion to see every community reached with the Gospel. They understand that the source of life for a new church is Christ, not human effort and that multiplication is built into the living water…

 “… but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” John 4:14

We praise God for more than 100 guests in attendance and for a vibrant atmosphere during an awareness breakfast in Pretoria last weekend. Please pray with us for all our fundraising and development efforts as we continuously seek faithful partners to work and pray alongside us to fullfil Harvesters’ vision to plant 1 million churches, to train 1 million pastors, and evangelize and disciple 100 million believers by 2030.
