A heat wave during February ruined many crops in Southern Zambia, Zimbabwe and northern parts of South Africa. Although the stems are green there are limited cobs on the plants. Now is the time that rivers should be flowing, but they are empty. People should be eating to gain weight for the winter months. Many people are not reaping from their harvest as they should have. Without intervention, hunger will strike these parts with a vengeance in 2-3 months from now. Lord we pray that you will feed our people.
